Sancta Maria Healing House
The structured support includes inhouse 12 Step Programs, Life Skills, Art Therapy, Aromatherapy, Arts & Crafts and Drug and Alcohol Counseling. Daily group discussions and weekly one on one discussions work towards house harmony.
The spiritual atmosphere is supported through daily Mass, prayer time, journaling, weekly Bible Study, service work and practiced Catholic Christian values.
Recreation includes walks, cycling, camping trips, beach walk and various other activities. Home management is taught through participation in household duties, as well as planning activities and celebrations.
The Progam is minimum three months. Length of stay is open-ended. Our goal is to provide adult women with supervision for the first three months. After this clean time, residents receive continued support and encouragement as they seek to reenter society through schooling, jobs or volunteer work. This transition is made as they enjoy the familiar, safe place they have known as home.
This Love is offered by committed Volunteers who will journey with you on the road to freedom from addiction!
They will be there for you 24/7 in Sancta Maria House through everyday life, Christian 12 Step Groups, Drug & Alcohol Counseling, Life Skills, Service Work, Bible Study, Mass, Crafts, Art Therapy and many recreational outings. You will experience 'family' in this pleasant and loving atmosphere.
Located in a beautiful area in Vancouver, BC, we offer structured, supportive living for 9 women who desire freedom from addiction.
We welcome any women from any walk of life to join us in this holistic treatment program.
We believe that the Love or Agape of Jesus heals completely and for this reason, Christ-like ministry is vital. Agape is defi ned as "the willingness to suffer without retaliation and the willingness to serve without expecting a return."
We believe that every person is called and empowered to live in a way that their very existence will be an expression of that Love.
