MPD• The Ministry Potential Discerner (MPD) is a non-profit organization, established in 1985 for the purpose of increasing vocations to the priesthood and religious life. The MPD does so by working with dioceses, religious communities and other vocational organizations to help identify candidates who have an expressed interest in and aptitude for the priesthood, sisterhood or brotherhood. The MPD Self-Assessment Survey was designed to "plant the seeds" of spiritual enlightenment for the future harvest of potential priestly and religious vocations within the Church.
