A New Year is upon Us - Start it by Serving our Lord!
This year, as with most volunteer organizations, we are seeking  people who wish to serve the Lord and bring His love to the women who work as prostitutes and recovering from addiction. At this time, we have a variety of volunteer positions available from Street Ministry, to relief work at Sancta Maria House - home of healing. And... it all starts with a bag of candy.
We thank all of our sponsors and donors for their support, without which we would not be able to bring to these desperate women His Love, His Comfort and the joy that only Jesus can provide.

She is a Daughter, Mother, Partner and Friend
People seldom smile as she walks by, preferring instead to avert their gaze. Violence and death are possible every time she welcomes a stranger.
How true and it happened again, it is so sad.....we lost one of our girls again, this time it was SHELLEY, 44 years old from Surrey. Her body was found in Coquitlam in September 2006 by a person out for a morning walk.

And She Talked to Us...
We had encountered this young woman before on our weekly street walks. She was usually cautiously friendly stating that too much “God talk” made her uncomfortable and we always respected that. Our meeting last night however was supremely co-ordinated by the Holy Spirit. Started with the prayer card (as it often does) which was the 23 Psalm. She read it herself which she usually doesn’t and the words of that beautiful Psalm had special meaning for her. (excerpt) MORE

Tuesday Morning Breakfasts
Special thanks go out to our friend from Denmark, a great admirer of the work of the Agape Street Ministry for the donation of a George Foreman Griddle. Now we are able to offer the women a hot breakfast and we hope they are looking forward to a more interesting and satisfying cooked meal every Tuesday.(excerpt)

Rosaries!
We are in need of Rosaries. Each night we give out approximately 5 Rosaries and Rosary pamphlets. This totals approximately 1,825 Rosaries and Rosary pamplets each year.
We are also always in need of candy. We give out 35,000 candy bags each year, which are made up of 5 pieces of wrapped
